The Type 250FX flux storage oven holds up to 250 lb (113 kg) of bulk flux. An adjustable thermostat maintains flux temperature between 100°–750°F (38°–399°C).

Heating elements are spaced evenly to ensure steady distribution of heat throughout the flux chamber. 

Type 250FX flux ovens also features a slag screen that acts as a sieve to filter out contamination and protects the heating elements below.
